From Abingdon I went to Honnington for a short time before going back to Lyneham, and got demobbed from there. After that I drifted around for a while before ending up at East Midlands working for Air Bridge Carriers (now Hunting Cargo I believe).

Then I started with Servisair as a traffic D, O and eventually ended up at Cardiff as Station Manager. I then did a couple of years in Saudi, working for Saudia, came back to EMA working for BMA, and then Orion. When Orion sold out to Britannia, I decided to try a job out of aviation, and worked for UPS at their Oxford branch.

Regards to those that remember me and Hi! to those that don't
But Avgas gets in the blood, and fool that I am I took a job with Jersey European in Exeter. I then got the call of the desert and went to work for the Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight, unfortunately that didn't work out, so after a year I came back to U.K. and got a job with Sabre Airways at Gatwick.

I stayed with Sabre for a couple of years, and then got offered my present job which is Ops Controller with European Air Charter in sunny Bournmouth.

Update October 2007
I am now working for a company called Directflight.  We operate a Bae 146 doing atmospheric research all over the world.  I have been working at DFL for 5 years now, firstly at Exeter and now I am based at Cranfield University in Bedfordshire.

I live in the small village of Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, with my wife Susan and an ageing Springer spaniel called Buster.

As I said we operate the 146 worldwide , in the past 4 years we have done work in Fresno, Houston, Treviso, Baden Baden, Horta (Azores), Iceland, Niger and Senegal. In 2008 we plan to be in Fairbanks Alaska Feb, Mar Munich May,  Kota Kinabalu Borneo Aug and Northern Chile in Nov so any OBA members in those areas get in touch and we may be able to get together for a beer or three.

The picture was at Niagara Falls in March 2007. We passed through neighboring Buffalo on our way back from Houston.
