Stan Seggar - More
Remember 1963/65,18 months as Boy Entrants at RAF Credenhill-Hereford. My first photo is of myself taken on our first leave after being signed up, my mum requested I had my photo taken professionally in best blue as we were not allowed home in civilian clothes. Being the sprogs, I think we were all ready for it to be able to escape from all the bull /GDT/GSK/trade training.
The second photo is me outside our first hotel/billet 174, oh the luxury, must have been a best blue day.
The 3rd photo is of the late Terry Hesselden and myself outside our new barrack block near the school of catering - can’t remember its name (Cruickshank?) oh what luxury, better than winter in the old billets taking turns at sitting round the stove before lights out, if there was enough coal available.

Unfortunately, I was medically discharged from the RAF hospital at RAF Cosford after an operation on both feet 4 weeks before passout, thus cheating me out of my future as a supplier in the RAF.   However, I have always held and still hold fond memories of those days which made us into men, and never forgot the great lads and tutors we served with. Best wishes to all C FLT /3 SQN /50th Entry Supplier General, 1963/65, RAF Hereford.
